J Gonzales Law Office, represented by its Founding Legal Counsel, Mr. Jonn Kenneth Laurence “Jolo” A. Gonzales, attended the 2024 National Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Convention held at the Manila Hotel on December 5, 2024.
This momentous event brought together national government agencies and ADR experts from across the country to advocate for ADR-driven governance as a means to improve access to justice for every Filipino. The convention was attended by over 400 participants, including government officials, as well as ADR advocates and experts from both the public and private sectors.
The convention focused on the theme, “ADR-Driven Governance: Better Access to Justice for Every Filipino.” It emphasized the promotion of ADR not merely as an alternative method for resolving disputes but as one of the primary mechanisms for delivering justice that is accessible, swift, and efficient for all Filipinos.
As part of the convention’s activities, breakout sessions and panel discussions were held to explore the importance of ADR and outline strategic actions on how ADR can be used as a primary mechanism for resolving disputes.
The event also served as a platform for collaboration, fostering partnerships among stakeholders committed to enhancing ADR frameworks in the Philippines. Its success marks a significant step forward in strengthening the role of ADR in achieving inclusive and sustainable justice for the nation.
